1. Although the diameter range 8”-140”(219mm-3556mm) is achievable on one mill, we suggest consumer to buy two mills. It’s because there will be a great waste of energy, time and resources to use such a big mill to produce small pipes like 8”(219mm).
2. The recommended mill range is:
8”- 20”or 24” or 32” (219 mm -508,610,820 mm)
20” or 24”- 120” or 140”(508,610mm - 2540,3556mm)
3.The most popular mill range now is:
8”- 24”(219 mm -610mm)
20”-100” (508mm - 2540mm)
Since our product is non-standard equipment, and we have our own technical team with more then 15 year project experience. Our products are highly flexible and can be customized. We can design base on consumer needs.

Online vs Offline
Online= 1 welding process, 100% finish welding, direct to produce final product
Offline= 2 Welding process, online tack welding first, than go to finial welding machine to finish welding
Note: The welding speed is limited the total output speed of the production line, so offline welding will increase the productivity of the mill.
Continuous vs Discontinuous
Continuous = Add a accumulator and fly welding car in the shear and welding process in order to achieve the continues welding production.
Discontinuous = Normal shear and welding process, should stop the production line for the welding process of the two ends of steel strips.
Note: In the Continuous type mill, all the Uncoiler, Pinch Leveling Machine, Shear and Welding Machine are on the fly welding car.
Special Note: The Continuous type mill will increase 1.5 time more productivity and improve the welding quality, since the welding process is continuous and stable.
Mill Type | Discontinuous Production Annual Output | Continuous Production Annual Output |
Type A | 50,000-80,000 ton/year | 75000-120000 ton/year |
Type B | 50,000-100,000 ton/year | 75000-150000 ton/year |
Type C On | 50,000-100,000 ton/year(Online) | 75000-150000 ton/year |
Type C Off | 200,000 ton/year(Offline) | -------------------------------------- |
